Transmitter or
GORT is the newest item in the line-up of Excalibur
security products. This unit is fantastic for protecting areas
of property, equipment, businesses and any other object which
can be surrounded by infrared sensors.
The GORT is elevated on a pole, tree or roof top and is
comprised of a large LED light array and
receiver/transmitter. Infrared sensors (and other types) are
strategically placed around the area to be protected. When
someone enters the areas covered by the sensors the GORT "comes
to life", facing the persons direction, flashes the LED's twice,
then lights them up with a steady beam of light. This is very
disconcerting for anyone with bad intent, as it appears that
someone is tracking them. As the person moves from the first
sensor area and crosses into another one, the GORT faces the
intruder again, going through the same flashing process. If the
intruder didn't think he or she was being watched before, they
do now!
The basic GORT system can be upgraded for
even MORE levels of effect.
VOICE ALERT: this addition allows the GORT
to function exactly as indicated above, but with VOICE ALERT the
GORT actually speaks a pre-recorded message to the intruder,
such as,
"STOP! You have entered a
restricted area. Police have been notified."
Each sensor
can have a different recorded message assigned to it.
TEXT ALERT:
the TEXT ALERT option adds the benefit of actually notifying*
a manager/owner, a security patrolman in the area or our
security dispatch center, who can send a security patrolman or
summon the police. If you would like a little more
functionality...
LIVE ALERT:
we can add a camera, microphone & speaker to your
basic GORT unit. Now, when an intruder enters a protected area,
they ARE being watched. Our dispatcher center will be able to
see, hear and speak to the intruder, while recording the video
activity!**
You can also choose to add the camera to the unit without
live monitoring and record the video activity on-site.
