Security Officers

Currently Hiring)
Minimum requirements:
18+ years of age; minimal to no criminal history; good
verbal & written skills; positive and helpful attitude;
ability to follow directions; professional in appearance and
demeanor; reliable and punctual. Pay is commensurate to
experience and is only discussed during your personal
interview. Current S.C. Law Enforcement Division
certification is a plus, but not required.
SHIFTS
AVAILABLE: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Mid-Shift. There are
far fewer day shifts than others listed, so please specify
if you are ONLY willing to accept a typical Day Shift.
Job specifications:
There are varying levels of security
positions ranging from static, unarmed posts such as entry
gates to highly active, armed officers.
Your
individual background, abilities, personality, training and physical
conditioning can determine the level of security function
you could be assigned, if hired. Please be aware that we are
a professional service company and do not retain employees
who do not abide by our service standards. If you are
seeking a job where you do absolutely nothing OR wish to
exert your authority at every given opportunity, we are not
the company for you. There are other companies out there
that allow this, but we do not.
A large percentage
of positions available are related to resort hotels. These
positions are typically unarmed and require a individuals
who are very personable, hospitable, active and alert. With
these qualities, all individuals should also be confident in
their ability to handle unpleasant situations and persons in
a professional yet assertive manner. Security positions are
not for meek or thin-skinned persons.
We typically
promote from within the organization, however, those with
the right level of background and training can be promoted
rather quickly once their work ethic, abilities and
professionalism are displayed for a reasonable amount of
time.

(Actively Hiring)
Minimum requirements:
18+ years of age;
minimal to no criminal history; above average written
skills; ability to follow instructions; reliable and
punctual. Additionally, some computer skills are necessary
such as: use of search engines; word processing and
extensive email use. Candidates must be fast thinkers and
capable of operating with little to no direct supervision.
Personal and professional integrity is an absolute
necessity. Applicants should have a general knowledge of
camera and video equipment. Pay is commensurate with
experience.
We are currently
hiring experienced investigators only with a good knowledge
of the Myrtle Beach vicinity.

SATELLITE OFFICE / SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES
SATELLITE OFFICES:
We are always looking for qualified individuals to operate
branch offices in or near major population centers of South
Carolina. This opportunity is best suited for individuals
who are interested in private investigations AND have good
managerial skills, but do not necessarily wish to operate
their own business entity.
Excalibur offers such
individuals the opportunity to establish these branch
offices with a single source of marketing, established name
recognition and the resources available to larger agencies.
The branch office opportunity IS NOT subcontracting. The
income opportunity for the right people is much higher, but
this does require marketing efforts in each area and a high
work ethic. It would be much like operating your own
business, without all of the administrative headaches.
This IS NOT for the
inexperienced. You MUST have demonstrable industry skills to
even be considered for this opportunity. Although we feel
that be well educated is a huge benefit, it is not a
substitute for actual, life experience.
SUBCONTRACTING:
Excalibur often utilizes the assistance of established
investigative agencies throughout the State. This generally
occurs when a case originates in our local area, but travels
to other areas of the State. Typically, by utilizing outside
agencies is done in an effort to save our clients money by
removing the necessity of travel time and expenses.
In order to be eligible to subcontract for Excalibur,
established agencies must:
*Be licensed in their State(s) of
operation; *Have no substantiated
client complaints through SLED in the past two years;
*Provide copies of acceptable levels of insurance coverage
to perform investigations.
IF you or your agency meets the above
standards and ARE NOT members of The South Carolina
Association of Legal Investigators (SCALI), we suggest that
you apply. We will ALWAYS give first option to a member of
SCALI, over non-members. It's a great association and the
membership process is easy.

Scheduling is very
flexible and travel is in focused in Horry County, however,
sales territory is very wide and dependant upon the
item/service being sold.
Pay is base plus commission,
which would be discussed in detail with qualified
candidates.
