3100-I GPS Tracking Unit
This GPS unit is designed for interior use to track
the activity of vehicles or other assets. This product
is commonly referred to as a "passive tracking
device", which simply means that you download
the tracking data from the unit to see where it
has been - not where it is right now (see the 7100,
active unit). The 3100-I is completely self contained
with no wires and no external antenna. All you do
is turn it on and place it for later downloading.
This unit operates on 4AA, internal batteries or
can be wired directly to a vehicles power supply
for use without batteries.
This passive GPS unit is identical to the 3100-I,
with the exception that this unit has an external
antenna and can be mounted on the exterior of the
vehicle or other asset. This unit is water resistant
and also operates on 4AA, internal batteries or
